Boneless ribs, yucky ,pasta and meatballs not much better. Sorry Irene's we won't be back.
The servers here set the bar for which I judge every other server I meet in any other restaurant. They set the bar high. My mother was in the industry and after years of experience she never skips a beat to sing the praise of these servers who remember their regulars, make pleasant conversation and treat us all with respect while still being fast and efficient. Most servers in these spots get one or the other, but these servers set the bar high for a reason. This place always feels like I stopped home for a quick breakfast before running off to get work done. Always worth stopping by.
Good local family owned restaurant. Waitstaff is now pleasant and helpful, they seem to have gotten rid of a couple rude waitresses finally. Food was excellent.
I have been going to Irenes since the family opened up the business. Prior to that I use to visit the family at their first pizza restaurant in Moodus, Ct, Village Pizza.
Great food, great service. And the waitress let me stay to catch up on some paperwork. Nice!
Opened offers a vast assortment of meals and drinks, you will not go away hungry! The prices are very good, the service is very good as well. You will not be sorry. It is amazing to see Irene's & Guss's children, who are now all grown up and helping to run the business and to watch how hard this family works to insure that you have a great meal.
