We have been taking our Springer Spaniel and our Pug (who has since passed) to the Norwichtown Pet Resort for years. The staff gave us a tour and showed us what they do for cleaning, feeding and what the play yard is like before we started taking our fur babies there. (We had a bad experience at another local kennel so we were cautious.) The kennels are cleaned everyday, thoroughly, the dishes are cleaned daily in a dishwasher, the dog's bedding is washed and dried if they have an accident on their bed. You do have to pay extra for walks, cuddle time, or other time outside of the kennel such as play yard time or day camp but I like that you get to choose what you want your dog to do while you board them. This kennel is air conditioned and that is not the case at other kennels where they just use fans. Some dogs are heat intolerant and the air conditioning can be the difference to make them comfortable. Our dogs love to go to "daycare" and cannot wait to get there. The staff always remembers our dogs and our dogs love on them like family. I cannot say enough good things about them. We will be boarding our Springer and his new baby sister in July and the new baby will be 9 months at that time. I have no doubt that she will have all her needs met and she will be safe and happy.
