Dr. Jeremiah Lowney did my husband's braces, and his daughter, Dr. Jennifer Lowney, has done all THREE of my teenager's braces and Invisalign. Jim, the office manager we deal with, is MORE than pleasant, always understanding with our schedule, and has helped us handle the complicated insurances, copays, and family payments we have had to coordinate in the last seven years. Our family is grateful for their office staff, as well as Dr. Lowney's gentle and kind approach to dealing with teenagers, who can be difficult. To be honest, I am shocked the other reviewer would comb the internet for ways to disparage this kind woman and leave so many reviews on so many sites. I Dr. Lowney cares about my family, so I am sure she cares deeply about her staff and probably didn't take kindly to them being abused by an angry customer. I wrote this review because I feel no one should make a decision about their child's medical care based on the inexperienced consumer who reviewed her. I wouldn't trust anyone else with such an important investment, nor with the care of my children.
Started treatment for my son at this office. Two weeks into treatment, the office financial manager tells me I have no insurance. I explain that I did. She stated that I would have to pay the extra money if it was not straighten out. Later in the day, all the future appointments were cancel until the issues was worked out. I have very frustrated but never rude. I verified insurance and found out that manager never called insurance, just relied on computer. If they had called, there would have been no issue. I complained on Facebook about their communication. The next day the Dr. accused me of bullying her manager and refused to treat my son. Once the insurance problem happened, they only cared about money.
