Aside from the owner being a miserable, rude prick, this is a great establishment with excellent subs. The ladies there are always super friendly & helpful & they have the best rolls around, hands down.
The grinders are very good. The prices are better. The staff...ehhh. The boss/owner is absolutely miserable. The food staff are really young, some have a lot of attitude. It appears to be the overall environment in there.
The best grinder i have ever had. The bread makes the grinder! My grandfather used to own a grinder shop in New London and he bought his bread from here. It was called Charlie and the Whale.
Grinders to die for, the staff has some nice people in it for sure but by golly do you need to be ready to order when its your turn hahaha!! and dont ask questions just yell what you want. If you dont understand dont ask just say yes.
